Mystic Soldier

Category: soldier. Active power, once per game.

Once per game, while in its own half (ranks 2–4 for White, 5–7 for Black), can swap places with any friendly piece in that same zone. It cannot swap with the back rank, or with its King if that would leave the King in check. Plays as a normal soldier afterwards.

Mystic Swap

From your own half (ranks 2–4 / 5–7), swap places with any friendly piece in that zone.

The story behind the piece

Versed in forbidden spatial magic, they can instantly swap places with an ally in danger.
